James J. Gibson (1904年1月27日∼1979年12月11日)

James Jerome Gibson，是一位美國心理學家，被認為是二十世紀視知覺領域最重要的心理學家之一。1950年，他發表了經典著作《視覺世界的知覺》(The Perception of the Visual World)，反對當時流行的行為主義觀點。後來著作《視知覺生態論》(The Ecological Approach to Visual Perception，1979年)則批評認知主義。並強烈地主張直接知覺議題。
