Erich Fromm (1900年3月23日∼1980年3月18日)

Erich Fromm，美籍德國猶太人。人本主義哲學家和精神分析心理學家。畢生致力修訂佛洛伊德的精神分析學說及跟人本主義的學說，為新佛洛依德主義與新馬克思主義的思想交匯。並被尊為「精神分析社會學」的奠基者之一。1918年Fromm進入法蘭克福大學修習兩學期法學，1919年進入海德堡大學學習社會學，1922年獲哲學博士學位。次年至慕尼黑大學專攻精神分析學，1925年至1930年間，在柏林精神分析學會接受精神分析訓練。1930年加入法蘭克福社會觀察學會，1934年到紐約哥倫比亞大學工作，離開哥倫比亞大學後，1943年時他幫助創建華盛頓精神病學學校紐約分校，1945年創建了William Alanson White 精神病學，精神分析和心理學協會。
