A Dream Tribe - Unveiling the Mystery Town

Mountains and Rivers of Kiyang

Footpath zone

Kiyang Village has three footpath zones, the first one--- Chungyueh River Hiking Trail about 1.5 kilometers along Road B, the second one-- Kiyang Hiking Trail, 2 kilometers further in the “xianliang” direction, and the last one-- Old Wuta Trail.

Chungyueh River Hiking Trail: completed in end of 2006, about 3 km long. If you travel along clean Chungyueh River, you can appreciate the fishes curveting in the water and enjoy yourself in the fleshing forest.

Kiyang Hiking Trail (Bitan River Hiking Trail): completed also in end of 2006, about 1 km long. As there are some deep ponds, a lot of travelers often choose it as a good place for rock climbing along the brook.

Laota Old Trail: once a main road to Old Wuta Tribe during Japanese occupation, about 15 km long. The meandering footpath along the South River has almost been damaged. However, it’s good resort in summer, so the government started recovery in 2006.
