Mystery Lake

Mystery Lake, which is also called the Ghost Lake, located in the mountains of Nan-ao Township Kiyang Village. After taking jeep in Kiyang Tribe, it will spend one and half an hour to arrive at the mountaineering entry along the Road A. With long and rugged hilly road, it is a unique good resort for adventure. The lake, about 1000 meters above the sea level, is a mountain-sealed lake, where an observation station was set up to observe the swamp lives in the lakes.
With a size about 200 meters in length and 100 meters in width, the lake is flooded with sphagna. Standing at the entry, you can see the teals cruising on the water. The water is clear enough to view various aquatics, such as crabs, field snails, loaches, tadpoles and etc, also rare plants, such as Potamogeton pectinatus, rihzoma scirpi and Salix kusanoi. And there are also such animals as squirrels, goats and mountain mouse.
With about 60 types of birds and about 200 types of butterflies, it become a wonderful site for sightseeing.
