Kiyang village was called “Knus” by the villagers since it had a lot of camphors. Now, the villagers take ginger planting as their main source of income. There is a road in Kiyang Village accessible to Mystery Lake of 1200 meters. Because of its plentiful natural resources, it used to be the frequent hunting site and once a battlefield with Taroko tribe.
	Their main product includes ginger, while Sansu and mushroom are byproducts. At present, the local government is constructing a scenery footpath named Old Wua Trail in parallel with Nao-ao South River in Kiyang Village.
